MUSIC HAPPENS HERE! What students have to say . . . |
||
To
Whom It May Concern,
I
am writing this letter to recommend Mark Regan as a music
instructor. My daughter received ukulele lessons through the local
YMCA and Mr. Mark was her teacher. He was kind and patient with her
as well all the other students. Over the three sessions (each 6
weeks), she learned to read music and play simple songs. His
enthusiasm and love for music is contagious.
June, MaineMark organized a recital and his older and younger students were given the opportunity to perform. I was greatly impressed by what the students had learned within a short period of time. I intend to sign my daughter up for another session of lessons in the fall. She had a wonderful experience with Mark. After playing for over ten years, I had reached a plateau. In only one half hour lesson, he got me past the blockage and onto some serious shredding. The technique he uses is seriously amazing. Mr. Mark taught me to play the guitar. It was fun and easy. He is a good teacher. Mark gave my son lessons over the summer. My son has a disability. Mark was able to help bring him out of his shell and he was playing before the summer ended. He was awesome!

![]() More than a teacher or instructor , Mark is a music mentor. He encourages his students to feel the music. You don't get that from a dvd or online, only in person. Mark makes learning to play music just what it should be ....FUN ! I went from "Twinkle , Twinkle Little Star" to " Stairway To Heaven "on the ukulele in just a few a few months and you can too! Ken, Maine I wanted to learn to play the ukulele. I found his website and decided to go for lessons. He taught me chords, strumming, picking, how to read tab and it has been wonderful fun. I recommend him to anyone.
Mike, Maine I took lessons from Mark when I was 7 until I was 11. I kept playing and when I was 18, I played in a band that toured from New Hampshire to Florida one summer. Without him pushing me when I was young, I don't know, maybe I wouldn't still be playing and loving it. I took one of Mark's summer band classes. We learned 6 songs and played them beginning to end. I had never played an entire song before. Three of us kept playing together and found a singer later that fall. The next year, we were playing paying gigs . Great class, great experience. ![]() |
